2 x underwriting graduate roles with Chaucer
Chaucer’s award-winning Graduate Programme produces our underwriters of the future. It provides an excellent start to your career in insurance – one of the largest, most important and successful industries in the UK, employing over 300,000 people and adding over £40 billion a year to the UK economy
Over 24 months, we will provide you with the opportunity to begin your training as an underwriter – an insurance professional who understands risks, how to manage them, and has responsibility for choosing what their insurance company will insure.
- able to work with complex analytical information
- an excellent communicator
- organised, logical, and a clear thinker
- good with numbers
- commercially minded, self-motivated and a team player
- committed to studying for an insurance-related professional qualification
You have a 2.1 degree. If this is in a language such as Spanish or Mandarin that is a plus, but not essential. You have 3 or more ‘A’ levels (grades A to C), plus GCSE Maths and English (both minimum grade B). You also have good IT skills including Microsoft Excel.
You can start with us in October 2019 and you have an unrestricted right to work in the UK.
How to apply
